What this site is for, what the survey notes are worth, and where the line sits between describing equipment and claiming a relationship with the company that built it.
The service pages and the ledger describe how faults are surveyed on this equipment. They are written from field work and they are published because an owner who understands the fault makes better decisions about the repair. They are not instructions, and they are not a substitute for someone standing in front of the appliance with a meter.
Gas and mains electricity are involved in nearly everything described here. Acting on a page instead of on a survey is your own decision and your own risk. If you can smell gas, shut the supply off at the valve and call the gas utility — that call comes before any repair company.
We keep these pages current as we learn more, and we correct them when they turn out to be wrong. No page here is a promise that your appliance has the fault it describes.
Nothing on this site is a quotation. The only binding figures are the ones on a written estimate issued after a survey, and the invoice that follows the work you approved. The published diagnostic fee is $129, flat, and credited toward the repair when you approve the work.
Warranty terms for work we perform are set out on the warranty page and repeated on the invoice. Where the two ever differ, the invoice governs, because it records what was actually done.
Booking is by appointment window. We do not advertise emergency or 24-hour service and we do not accept bookings on that basis.
Keelson Appliance Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Viking or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
Viking is a trademark of Composition Brands. It appears on this site for one purpose only: to identify accurately the equipment Keelson Appliance Service repairs. No manufacturer logo, brand typeface or brand colour scheme is used anywhere on this site, and none will be.
Work performed inside a manufacturer's own warranty has to go through that manufacturer's service network. We have no route into that process and do not represent otherwise.
The text, layout and code of this site belong to Keelson Appliance Service. You are welcome to read it, print a page, or send a link to a neighbour; republishing it as your own is a different matter.
The site is provided as it is. We cannot promise it is reachable at every moment or free of every error, and we are not liable for a loss arising from relying on a page rather than on a survey.
